  • Bare installs in NixOS are now considered Tier 2, meaning that they may break without warning and may not received prompt fixes, if ever. This is now a Docker project
  • Start with this Docker Compose file: https://hermes-agent.nousresearch.com/docs/getting-started/nix-setup
  • Look at the setup for nebula-sync
  • Run the setup in multiple stages. Get NixOS working in the VM, then install Hermes
